High Definition Recording/Playback

The Panasonic HD1200A HD VTR plays all DVCPRO formats both NTSC
and PAL, including DVCPRO HD-LP, and can downconvert HD signals for
output as SD signals, allowing its use as both an HD and SD viewer.

With its 1080/24p (25p) conversion and output function for Varicam
sources, the AJ-HD1200A also meets needs of todays HD cinema production.

HD Monitoring

Along with the Panasonic HD 1200A we have purchased the latest
Panasonic HD monitor.

The multi-format BT-LH1700 offers a 1280 x 768 pixel WXGA-resolution,
an amazingly fast response time, and faithfully reproduces up to 16.7 million
colors.

The 17" flat panel monitor offers a wide viewing angle of 176 degrees vertical
and horizontal. It offers an array of input/outputs including SDI, Y/Pb/Pr, RGB,
composite and S-video, as well as an audio input. The monitor displays 1080i
and 720P high definition formats including 1080/25PsF, 720/50P as well as
standard definition formats.
